Removalists in Point Piper

Point Piper is Sydney's highest-end waterfront estates — 5- and 6-bedroom homes on generous blocks with harbour views. A 5-bed home move is $3,000–$3,600 + GST on the 4-mover big-truck crew at $300/hr, often across two truck loads. The variable is driveway gradient and internal stair count — both significant here.

Moving in Point Piper

What Point Piper actually involves.

Point Piper 2027 is a small waterfront enclave between Double Bay and Rose Bay, in Woollahra Council. The housing is almost entirely large detached estates — mostly 5- and 6-bedroom homes on blocks of 800 to 2,500+ square metres. Wolseley Road is the main artery; the smaller streets running to the water (Wentworth Street, Wolseley Crescent) are private and narrow.

Driveway gradient is the biggest single variable on a Point Piper move. Many drives drop steeply toward the harbour, and a house at the waterfront end of a long slope is a different job on the clock than a street-level equivalent.

Waterfront properties often have boatsheds, jetties and lower-level storage rooms. Standard household contents from those levels count as extra floors on the clock. We do not move boats or watercraft — those require specialists.

Representative move

A typical Point Piper move.

4-bed harbourfront house · off Wolseley Road · 8 hours · $2,400 + GST

A Point Piper job is a large harbourfront home off Wolseley Road, with steep stepped access, serious volume, and the art, glass and antiques a home like this holds. We bring the full crew and truck, and often the white-glove option.

Four movers and a big truck, eight hours — 8 × $300 = $2,400 + GST. The steps and the fragile pieces are why the bigger crew makes sense: more hands means fewer, safer carries and one careful trip.

Pattern: for the harbourfront homes around Point Piper, four movers and the big truck is the usual call, and the careful pieces are worth pricing under our white-glove service.
