Coogee 2034 sits directly on the coast between Clovelly and Maroubra, in Randwick Council. The housing pattern is dominated by 1960s–80s walk-up apartment blocks running back from Arden Street and Coogee Bay Road — most 2–4 storeys, most without a lift. A smaller band of older Federation semis and post-war brick cottages sits further back on Rainbow Street and Alison Road.
Floor count is the number-one variable on a Coogee walk-up move. A third-floor block adds roughly 30–45 minutes on the clock versus a ground-floor equivalent. Modern king beds and larger L-couches sometimes need to come apart for 1960s stairwells — we bring the straps and tools, but heads-up on the quote call helps.
Arden Street parking is Coogee's equivalent of Campbell Parade in Bondi. It fills fast in beach season (November–March) and is metered with 2P/4P limits along the beach strip. For load-outs on Arden Street or the beachfront blocks we push toward weekday mornings or Saturday before 10am. Randwick Council issues temporary moving-vehicle permits — apply 7 business days ahead if you need reserved kerbside space.
For addresses further back toward the top of the hill on Melody Street, Byron Street or Alison Road, street parking is easier and the timing constraint fades — most weekdays are fine at any time.
